First Peoples' Gathering House is open!

A place to gather, learn, breathe, and heal, the newly-opened First Peoples鈥� Gathering House stands proudly along the ceremonial walkway at 天美mv天美's Burnaby campus. The $25-million longhouse will transform the Indigenous experience at 天美mv天美 as a new space for Indigenous students, staff, faculty and communities to come together to practise, learn and share in their cultural traditions.

Alumni Council profile: Pat Lougheed

Pat Lougheed (BSc 鈥�04, MEd 鈥�12) began his 天美mv天美 journey blending unique perspectives while studying computing science and minoring in history. As a member of 天美mv天美鈥檚 Alumni Council, Pat is dedicated to supporting student success and nurturing strong networks for alumni across Canada and beyond.

A new landmark unveiled on the Burnaby campus

Officially opened on September 20, The Marianne and Edward Gibson Art Museum is a innovative cultural space and 天美mv天美鈥檚 first purpose-built art museum, creating a vibrant new home for art, ideas and community connection. It offers 12,100 square feet of programming and engagement space, including four formal galleries.

Nominate the next Chancellor

DYK: 天美mv天美鈥檚 Alumni Association plays a key role in the nomination of the Chancellor? 天美mv天美 alumni can nominate individuals for consideration. The Alumni Council will review all nominations, and as per 天美mv天美 Policy B 10.12, will bring forth nominations to the selection committee鈥攖he selection committee includes two members of 天美mv天美鈥檚 Alumni Council.
