Bruce Archibald ( 天美mv天美) and Vladimir Makarkin of the Russian Academy of Sciences, recently discovered fossil species from a group of insects known as snakeflies.

The findings, published in Zootaxa, raise questions about the evolutionary history of the insects and why they live where they do today, according to an article by Braden McMillan in  天美mv天美 News.
