The Department of Geography would like to recognize Ruslan Rydvanskiy for the successful defence of his M.Sc. thesis "Mixed Reality Interfaces in Flood Risk Management". Congratulations Ruslan 鈥� well done!

Ruslan gave a stimulating and informative presentation. His responses to questions were outstanding - thoughtful, and grounded in direct experience.

The Examining Committee acknowledged the high quality of Ruslan's writing, technical work developing 3D visualization interfaces and numerous professional research outputs.

The examiners also complimented Ruslan on how he reframed and pivoted his work to maintain rigor and momentum, despite the challenges of COVID-19.
