天美mv天美 English MA student Shauna Judith Irani spoke at the 8th Annual 天美mv天美 Retirees Luncheon on May 4th, 2023. She discussed "The Lyon in Mourning" project and its successful collaboration with . The project, headed by Professor Leith Davis, and supported by the 天美mv天美 Research Centre for Scottish Studies, 天美mv天美鈥檚 Digital Humanities Innovation Lab and the National Library of Scotland, involves the digitization of Bishop Robert Forbes' remarkable ten-volume manuscript.
During the event held at the W.A.C. Bennett Library at 天美mv天美 Burnaby, Irani shared the project's incredible milestones, which include being showcased at esteemed conferences held at the University of Edinburgh (IASH) and the University of Guelph. The project has reached widespread recognition and has been celebrated at cultural events like ScotFestBC: BC Highland Games and World Music Festival and through platforms, such as BBC Radio Scotland.
