Hybrid Thermal Electric Microgrids II MSE 754 (3)

Covers hybrid microgrids with strong practical training components. Topics include i) energy conversion and distribution systems; ii) entrepreneurial mindsets, presentation for implementation; iii) bioenergy production and natural gas network; iv) thermal energy storage materials and processes; v) thermal energy grid; vi) sensing and communication systems; and vii) energy policy. Part two of a two-part project-oriented course. Students with credit for MSE 454 may not take this course for further credit.
