Institute of World Literature
(IWL) was created to explore the study of literature from around the world. As an institutional affiliate 天美mv天美's Department of World Languages and Literatures is able to send up to two highly qualified undergraduate students each year at reduced tuition rates. Meeting for four weeks each summer, in locations from Beijing to Istanbul to Harvard and beyond, the Institute is global in its presence as well as its intentions. Designed primarily for graduate students and post docs, this is an incredible opportunity for WLL students approaching graduation. Applications for this summer program are generally due in January or early February each year. If you are interested in applying speak to WLL's advisor for guidance on the application process.
WLL students who are admitted to this program are also eligible to receive designated reimbursement from the Department for their travel expenses
With its headquarters at Harvard University and partners around the world, the IWL seeks to offer training in world literature in global perspective and an opportunity for junior academics to partake in discussions and lectures on the future of the discipline. Perhaps most valued to WLL students who have attended in previous years, this program invites you to join an ongoing community that extends long after each session ends.
