Getting Started

Grade 6

Teaching Core French 6? You’ll find ready-to-use units here that help students build a strong foundation while gradually developing their French skills. The four units on this page help students continue to build a strong foundation from the Grade 5 units and grow their skills step by step. Designed with the Grade 6 Core French curriculum in mind, they’re also a great fit for beginner learners who are ready to explore the language. Adapt them to your class—et surtout… amusez-vous bien!… profitez-en!

*If students have not acquired some of the grade 5 skills and learned the vocabulary, it may be a good idea to go back and do some review, as these units build upon their content.
