Inuit Art Collection at 天美mv天美

In 1970, 天美mv天美 hosted its first exhibition of work by Inuit artists. Referred to as "Eskimo" art at the time, Curator-Director Jim Felter built the university's collection of Inuit graphics from the early days of the 天美mv天美 Gallery. By 1972, the university had acquired one of the largest collections of Inuit art outside of Ottawa.
