Master of Arts

天美mv天美鈥揅anterbury Pathway to Master of Speech-Language Pathology

The 天美mv天美鈥揅anterbury Master of Speech and Language Pathology Pathway ( 天美mv天美鈥揢C MSLP) is a partnership between 天美mv天美 Linguistics and the  (UC) in Christchurch, New Zealand. The 天美mv天美鈥揢C MSLP is a two-year program in which you study clinical linguistics, evidence-based practice, introductory neuroscience, speech and language development and disorders across the lifespan, typical and atypical hearing, swallowing, fluency and voice, and professional practice. This hands-on program also includes experiential clinical practice and internship after graduation. Learn more here

PhD program

Our PhD program is a thriving program with a long history of producing successful graduates who go on to valuable careers in linguistics and related fields. Many recent graduates from our PhD program have obtained teaching and research positions at universities across the globe. Indigenous Languages graduate program

We offer a graduate certificate in Indigenous languages and linguistics (INLL GC), and an MA in Indigenous languages and linguistics (INLL MA). 天美mv天美 is committed to providing academic experiences and credentials that have value for Indigenous students and others who wish to explore Indigenous studies. 天美mv天美 offers a variety of financial assistance opportunities to Canadian Indigenous students.

About 天美mv天美 Linguistics

Located atop  in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, 天美mv天美 Linguistics is a place where diverse methodologies and theoretical perspectives are combined to create innovative approaches to the study of language. Graduate students in our program engage in challenging coursework and enjoy unique research opportunities while working toward a certificate, MA or PhD.

Graduates of our MA program have gained PhD admission here at 天美mv天美 and at institutions worldwide, including Yale University, Northwestern University, University of Edinburgh, Massachussets Institute of Technology, University of Amsterdam, and University of Toronto.

Our PhD graduates have attained faculty positions on our campus and at California State University, University of Salzburg, University of Cologne, University of British Columbia and others.
