Purpose
The Faculty of Education is leading the collaboration of the RESPECT project, which responds directly to 天美mv天美's ARC report's, Walk This Path With Us, Call #7: 鈥淒evelop intervention programs teaching cultural safety and anti-racism for all employees at 天美mv天美鈥�.
- Create an understanding of how to build respectful and sustainable relationships with the host nations of 天美mv天美 to ensure their knowledges, languages, cultures, and protocols are honoured by 天美mv天美 employees.
- Build capacity of 天美mv天美 employees understanding of Indigenous Peoples' past, present, and future.
- Ensure all 天美mv天美 employees take up their individual responsibility to reconciliation through the collective work of decolonization and Indigenization.
- Foster and sustain a culture of life long (un)learning and respect for 天美mv天美 employees.
- 鈥楨nhance鈥� ongoing professional development in the areas of cultural safety, decolonization, and Indigenization for 天美mv天美 employees at all three campuses.
