SAGA Zotero Group Library

SAGA has created a public group library in Zotero where you can find literature relevant to translanguaging and sustainability research. We have categorized the literature into collections (folders) and tagged them according to relevant themes.

What is Zotero?
Zotero is a free, open-source research tool designed to help users collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research sources. It operates as a browser extension and desktop application, and automatically captures bibliographical information from websites, library catalogs, and databases.

What is SAGA鈥檚  Zotero public group library for?
This library has collected different types of literature relating to the relationship between translanguaging and sustainability into one place. The goal is to build a public library of references and their citations, in order to provide researchers and others interested in SAGA鈥檚 research with different pathways into understanding the research, policy and discourse in this subfield.

How do I join SAGA鈥檚 Zotero public group library?
To join SAGA鈥檚 public group library, click the link on our website. You will be able to view our library, but only invited or approved members can join the library to add or edit items. If you are interested in becoming a member, please email us at saga_research@sfu.ca.

Collections

Collections (folders) allow hierarchical organization of literature into groups and subgroups. You can import items directly to a specific collection or add them to collections after they are imported in your library.

The SAGA group library is organized according to six different collections:

  1. Interdisciplinary Studies Involving Language.
  2. Language and Multilingualism Policy related to Climate, Sustainability, Indigenous and Minority Languages, Interpretation and Language Justice. It includes international policy documents, policy position papers, and certain national policy documents that reflect on multilingualism.
  3. Languages and Sustainability, Languages and Climate Change in Popular Culture. This also includes websites and curated exhibit materials.
  4. Research and Advocacy Papers related to Indigenous and Minority Languages Revitalization, Multilingualism, Climate Change and Sustainability. This focuses on documents and projects by Indigenous Peoples and Minority language groups.
  5. Seminal Studies on Translanguaging and the City.
  6. Stories, Surveys and Other Resources.
