Mara Liwayway David

Hey everyone! I鈥檓 Mara, a second-year Computing Science student and one of your WiCS Co-Presidents for the 2025鈥�2026 term. I love that WiCS is a space to grow both technical and social skills while uplifting women and non-binary individuals in CS. As Co-President, I鈥檓 excited to support members and help foster a welcoming, empowering community. In my free time, I enjoy singing, playing guitar, and creating multimedia like graphic design and video edits.

Felicia Jiang

Hey hey! I'm Felicia, a 3rd-year CS student and one of your Co-Presidents for the 2025-2026 year. I'm incredibly passionate about community and continuous learning and love how WICS is such a wonderful mix of both. As Co-President, I'm extremely excited to be leading such a passionate and dedicated group to bring all the very best for YOU! SECRETARY

The Secretary records minutes of all meetings and is responsible for updating and overseeing the maintenance and development of the club website.

Maria Le贸n Campos

Hello !! I'm Maria, a second year SoSy student :)) In my spare time, I love to read, go on nature walks, and occasionally bake when the mood strikes. I'm SO excited to be a joining this year's exec team as Secretary !! I can't wait to flex my typing skills by taking meeting minutes, while keeping all WiCS members in the loop :D

Emmy Fong

Hi! I'm Emmy, a second year student at 天美mv天美 studying CS. I'm really excited to be the new treasurer of WiCS. In my free time, you can probably find me playing games with my friends, trying new foods, or exploring new places. I can't wait to start working with our amazing team!

Aniyah Bohnen

Hi! I鈥檓 Aniyah, a 4th year Computer Science and Math student and I鈥檓 so excited to be joining the WiCS team as Director of Sponsorships. When I鈥檓 not studying, I like to play games, read books, and go on picnics. I can鈥檛 wait to make amazing memories with the WiCS community and for what we鈥檒l achieve! <3

DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS

The Director of Communications responds to email correspondence sent to wics@sfu.ca, crafts weekly newsletters, manages the WiCS calendar updates and WiCS event reminders.

Hi! I'm Sydney, an upcoming 2nd year Computing Science student. I'm super excited to be your Director of Communications this year, where I'm hoping to help grow and support our community with resources and lasting memories! In my free time I like making jewelry, playing guitar, and working with clay. I'm shy at first, but love getting to know fellow WiCS members <3

Hi! I鈥檓 Jaycie 鈥� a third-year Software Systems student! You鈥檒l usually find me cafe hopping around the city with Jennifer or binge-watching sitcoms 馃槏 I鈥檓 also the co-president of SSSS this year, and hoping to do more Surrey Girlies collabs! I鈥檓 super excited to plan lots of fun events for WiCS this year!!!

Hi! I鈥檓 Emily, an upcoming third-year Computing Science student minoring in Interactive Arts and Technology, and I鈥檓 super excited to be one of your Co-Technical Coordinators this year! I love exploring the creative side of tech, and in my free time, you鈥檒l probably find me reading, painting, or watching movies. I can鈥檛 wait to meet everyone, make some fun memories, and help run some techy events along the way!

Bhakti Bhanushali

Hi, I鈥檓 Bhakti Bhanushali, Co-Director of Technical Events at 天美mv天美 WiCS! Strangely, I actually hated computers growing up. It wasn鈥檛 until a random computing course in my first year that I realized how much I love problem-solving. Outside of tech, I鈥檓 big on puzzles and cooking (mostly because I love eating). As an executive, I鈥檓 hoping to host events that spark curiosity, build skills, and leave people excited to dive deeper into tech.

Hi! I鈥檓 Gloria, a grad student in the MPCS Big Data program. I love trying new restaurants/coffee shops around the city and playing board games, feel free to message me if you have any recommendations! Super excited to be a part of the WiCS team :)

Hi! I'm Audrey, an upcoming third-year Computing Science student. When I鈥檓 not glued to my laptop, I鈥檓 probably out taking photos, listening to music, or going for a late-night drive. I'm super excited to create some fun content for you all!

Hi, I'm Bianca but you can also call me Yonka! I'm a 3rd year CS major and SIAT minor 馃挭 I love to play video games, listening to music, and being part of WiCS!!馃樇鉁↖鈥檓 super excited to bring my creativity and passion for design to the WiCS team as the next Director of Visual Design! The Director of Mentorship recruits and organizes mentorship groups, ensures program efficiency, and plans socials/workshops for participants.
