Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the 天美mv天美 Beedie School of Business?

After two decades in multinational corporations, I wanted to refresh my business knowledge and strengthen my professional network while exploring new career directions. The MBA program is thoughtfully designed to support all of these goals through its practical curriculum and collaborative learning environment. One more personal reason I appreciate is its convenient downtown location鈥攚ell connected by public transportation and surrounded by cozy coffee shops and bakeries鈥攚hich creates an inspiring atmosphere for reflection.

How would you describe 天美mv天美 Beedie鈥檚 culture?

Beedie鈥檚 culture is innovative, inclusive, and supportive. Everyone is encouraged to express their opinions freely without fear of judgment. In class discussions and team projects, diverse perspectives are welcomed and valued. Collaboration often sparks creative ideas and new ways of thinking. This open environment helps students learn from one another鈥檚 professional and cultural experiences, fostering both personal growth and innovation.

What has been your favourite experience so far? What are you looking forward to?

My most memorable experience was the big team celebration after our first exam. Encouraged by my classmates, I went for my first outdoor run in Vancouver and later joined the class for a joyful gathering鈥攖hree first-time experiences in one day! It made me feel truly connected to my cohort and the local culture. I鈥檓 most looking forward to representing Beedie in future case competitions and supporting new students as an ambassador.
