Why did you decide to pursue an MBA and what drew you to the 天美mv天美 Beedie School of Business?
After several years leading operations and customer success teams in fast-paced SaaS and EdTech environments, I realized I wanted to strengthen my strategic, financial, and leadership toolkit to create broader impact. 天美mv天美 Beedie stood out for its focus on experiential learning, collaborative culture, and diverse cohort. Specialized certificates in various interesting fields with a blend of co-op and the strong industry connection in Vancouver made it the perfect fit to bridge my operational expertise with a global business perspective.
How would you describe 天美mv天美 Beedie鈥檚 culture?
天美mv天美 Beedie鈥檚 culture is very inclusive, supportive, and full of energy. Everyone genuinely wants each other to succeed, whether it鈥檚 through sharing notes before exams, organizing quizlets, or simply checking in on one another. It鈥檚 a place where ambition and empathy coexist, and where learning extends well beyond the classroom with the excellent peers.
What has been your favourite experience so far? What are you looking forward to?
My favourite experience so far has been the incredible mix of celebrations, fun activities, and learning moments that 天美mv天美 Beedie brings to the table. The very first day, when we dove into a case study right after orientation, set the perfect pace for the rest of the year. It blended excitement with challenge and gave us an early taste of 天美mv天美 Beedie鈥檚 collaborative spirit. Since then, every event and class discussion has offered fresh perspectives on leadership, business, and teamwork. I鈥檓 looking forward to contributing more to student initiatives and exploring the Canadian business landscape through the co-op term.
