天美mv天美 School for the Contemporary Arts is pleased to announce Levers & Counterweights, a one-night presentation of works by students in the first-year graduate-level Studio in Contemporary Arts class. While the works in the exhibition vary significantly, drawing from distinct and multiple disciplinary influences, the selection of works reflects conversations that have unfolded over the course of the last two terms. A notable recurring topic over this period has been the recognition that small actions and reactions can influence, develop into, or make part of, larger systems 鈥 even at a global scale.
The School for the Contemporary Arts recognizes that we are on the unceded and occupied territories of the xwm蓹胃kw蓹y虛蓹m (Musqueam), Skwxw煤7mesh (Squamish) and S蓹l虛铆lw蓹ta涩 (Tsleil-Waututh) peoples.
Building and Accessibility Information
SCA's studios are located on the third floor of 611 Alexander Avenue. There are two entrances, one with stairs, and one next to an elevator. We will have volunteer ushers at both entrances. The entrance that is wheelchair accessible is the main entrance on the East side of the building, beside a tall, blue tower. The elevator is located left of the entrance inside. The other entrance has SCA's sign above the doors, and is stairs only. Should you have questions about accessibility or require additional information, please email Andrew Curtis.
