Aplica! wins!
Congratulations to SCA MFA student Luciana Saldanha Fortes and her collaborator Vanessa Milost Gonzalez, who's an MA student in international studies at 天美mv天美, for winning ' Venture Connection Award for female entrepreneurship for their start-up business, Aplica!, which "provides individualized guidance to students in Brazil applying to college or university in Canada or the United States." As Gonzalez and Fortes tell the 天美mv天美 Faculty of Arts & Social Science (FASS) news site, 鈥淲e are just starting to bring Aplica! to Canada, and to win an award at this stage gives us a boost to invest more time and resources into our project.
