DR. SHIRA PELEG

Dr. Shira Peleg was a PostDoctoral Fellow at the the Lifelong Health & Wellbeing Lab at 天美mv天美 from 2023 to 2024. She is now a faculty member at Bar-Ilan University. Her research interests include emotion regulation, stress and coping, and health behaviours.

Amelia Hickman 

Mitacs Intern

Amelia Hickman was a research intern for the Lifelong Health and Wellbeing Lab at 天美mv天美. Amelia was completing an undergraduate degree in BSc Psychology at The University of Manchester. She assissted the team on a project within the lab investigating daily social experiences and health in older age in summer 2024.

Gabriella Bodanese

MA student

Gabriella Bodanese is a gerontology master's student. She has a degree in psychology from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) and specializes in High Complexity Care at the Polydoro Hernani of Sao Tiago Hospital (Brazil). She developed her career as a hospital psychologist in a cardiology hospital, where she had the opportunity to intensify her contact with older adult patients. She has always been interested in studying the mental health of older adults and intends to do her thesis in this area, bringing together multidisciplinary aspects and thinking of old age as a biopsychosocial process.
